Can I take my mobility scooter on public transport like the MRT or BUS?
Many mobility scooters, especially folding and travel models, are designed to be portable and can be taken on public transport. However, it’s important to check with the specific transport provider as policies may vary.

“Harmonise PMA dimension restrictions for public paths and public transport, based on the existing public transport restrictions (i.e., 70cm width, 120cm length, 150cm height, 300kg laden weight). This would allow PMA users to smoothly transit between public paths and public transport. Exceptions for PMA dimension restrictions for public paths can be granted for users who have a certification of medical need to use oversized PMAs on a case-by-case basis.”
